Oh the dreaded thank you cards.
I honestly think writing thank you cards for any occasion can be dreaded when you have a lot of them to write. If you have a small party, shower, or wedding then it’s not going to take too long or be as daunting. But let’s be honest, that doesn’t tend to be the case most of the time. Most of the time we have a ton to write.
I think we all want an easy answer when it comes to writing thank you cards. And the hard thing is that there are quick answers out there, but then we aren’t being as personal.
For example, for my son’s first birthday party we had these thank you cards made.
It made this mama’s job a whole lot easier and he’s 1 so nobody complained that he didn’t write them a card. We took the easy route, but obviously not the real personal route.
Now if we try and get away with that for our wedding, well, it might not go over as well. We need to put some time and effort into those cards because of the time and effort that people put into attending the wedding, their cost of the celebration and gift.
Most of us have our wedding, then our honeymoon, then we are right back into the swing of life, so an easy way to go about doing thank you cards is ideal. I was looking online at all the thank you cards Etsy has to offer and came across this one…

What I love about this invite is the simplicity of it all. It saves time and money by being a postcard with your address already on it (think one less thing to write). And I personally love a thank you card with a photo on it. It makes me keep it longer. At this point in the process all you need to do is write the recipients address and thank them for the gift your received.
And while these are postcards with your address already on them, you are still keeping it personal by adding the photo from your wedding as well as writing your own message.
