“Should we go somewhere for photos?”
Sometimes schedules are tight and there is really only an opportunity to do the bulk of the photos at the ceremony location. In which case the photographer will always do their very best to get the best possible images. But what is the best case scenario? Provided there was enough time allotted a second location can always work in the couple’s favor. Is the reception in the cities; why not stop by St. Anthony Main or Minnehaha Park? Out in the country; why not find a local park? Quite often churches will have a small variety of photo opportunities, but they can often be limited. Having a second location in mind can ensure that you don’t have the same four backgrounds in the photos. Add that to the fact that multiple parks are made with the idea of being aesthetically diverse, and you have a best case scenario wedding photo shoot!
Here are some examples of that, Patrick & Andrea, and David & Joella.
