Staff Spotlight – Meet Daniel

This last weekend I worked my 100th wedding, and this month saw the start of my fourth year working with Studio Veil! It has seriously been a dream come true, as I love weddings and wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. I still remember back three years ago when I was going to college for photography and took an internship with Studio Veil. I was one of two interns and knew that if I wanted to get far in my field I would have to push myself harder than I ever had before. After my internship ended I was hired on part time and given more responsibilities; over the years following I eventually trained in on almost every service that Studio Veil offers (Photography, Video, DJ, Photo-booth, and soon to be Up-lighting), and landed a spot as one of two full time staff.

In my spare time I love to go snowboarding, camping, rollerblading, and visiting my favorite restaurant; Kyoto Sushi & Hibachi. I’m a huge Fantasy Football nut, and will be defending my 1st place title in both of my leagues this year. (Go Bears!)

While working with couples I don’t get to talk to them a ton on a personal level since there are typically 500 things going on, and 200 guests all wanting to do the same, but my favorite thing is to hear how all of the couples met. I have heard all sorts of amazing stories from so many wonderful couples; and I look forward to many more years in the wedding industry!
